We firmly believe that even a small company can achieve great change. We’re devoted to developing and manufacturing yarns, fabrics and tech-wear clothes from recycled fibres. The GreenEco provides guarantee that recycled fibres are the only material used to make the product. We want to do our bit in reducing the environmental footprint of the entire industrial sector by nudging it in a more ecological direction.
We have shown through our example that the prevailing textile industry practices can change, and we plan to remain a pioneer in this area in the future as well. Achieving our goal will take time and commitment, but we have both the stamina and ideas to do it.
We inspire consumers & businesses through our own example.
Greeneco Limited is a leading manufacturer and exporter of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) with its headquarters in Karachi, Pakistan.

We understand that our actions have long-term impacts. We don’t always see all the consequences of our actions, but we’re aware that they always have an impact on something, somewhere. This is why we try to think in advance about the consequences of our actions from as many angles as possible: environmental, human and economic. We’re committed to providing environmentally friendly and ethical solutions, without compromises. We believe that we can reduce negative environmental impacts by manufacturing high-quality, durable products from environmentally friendly materials. And when we add our happy, committed employees to that mix, we can really stand proudly behind our products.
From the beginning, our aim has been to create a company that is as responsible as possible and to act in a way that allows us to speak openly about all of our operations. We value transparency and we strive to honestly share our works in progress, not just our success stories and strengths. We’re also aware that as a for-profit company, we can never be 100% responsible from an environmental perspective, as our operations will always have some detrimental effects on something somewhere. However, we can do our best to try to identify, acknowledge and minimize those harmful effects.
The textile industry’s operations have huge direct and indirect environmental consequences. Responsible use of natural resources and responsibility for the environment are at the heart of what GreenEco does. Our products are manufactured from recycled materials and our product development is aimed at constantly expanding our range of recycled yarns, fabrics and products.
We have chosen recycled cotton as our primary raw material. Cotton is one of the world’s most used fibres, and only a small proportion of used cotton fibres are currently recycled. Cotton is an excellent multi-purpose fibre, but it leaves a very large environmental footprint. Cotton needs constant irrigation to grow, and the farming of each kilogram of cotton is estimated to consume 9,000 to 21,000 litres of clean water. Cotton farming also employs agrochemicals and fertilizer which then drain off into rivers and lakes, polluting them. Agrochemicals and fertilizer accumulate in ecosystems, threatening natural diversity. In addition to these problems, cotton farming causes soil erosion and degradation in many places.
